The same singer/songwriter who brought you Tequila For Me (Fast Horses For All My Men) and Lookin’ The Wolf In The Eye on his first CD, Keepin’ The New West Wild, is back with an album packed with songs about today’s west and the men and women who keep it alive.
From the opening notes of There’s A Hole In Daddy’s Rope, which tells what happens when Dad finds a new love once he starts competing in roping events, to the wonderful words of wisdom in America Needs The Cowboy, Huston has captured once again the heart and soul of the American West. --Bobby Newton, Working Cowboy Magazine

I wanted to tell you about a project that American Cowboy Magazine has instigated that is a great idea, and one that folks who love the west and the cowboy will want to get behind. U.S. Senator Craig Thomas (R-Wyo) has introduced a resolution into the U.S. Senate making You can check out the site by clicking on the button at right: I am asking that everyone who would like to see our cowboys and cowgirls honored with this resolution write to their senators and congressmen, mention the resolution and ask for their support. The more calls or emails these men and women get, the more they will pay attention to and vote for the resolution. We need to move quickly so the resolution can be introduced and passed in time for all of us to help spread the word about the July 23 date, and think of ways we can all celebrate the National Day of the Cowboy in our communities. Let’s all get together to support the National Day of the Cowboy! Randy Huston
